Happy New Year!!! I hope you had a great transition into the new year while plenty of ambitions and goals for the future. I, for one, wanted to start of the year with a new look for myself and the blog. Speaking of changes, while being here in the Lowcountry (Charleston), I think we have experienced all four seasons in the past couple of months… it’s cold one day and hot AF the next. I’m a creature of change and love nature’s big ol’ switch-o-roo, but can we experience this during the summer months instead of during sweater weather, lol.
On a recent visit to F21, while shopping for some t-shirts and joggers for the holiday, I spotted this super cute quilted leather moto jacket. When I picked it up, it had no tag and no sensor attached. I knew that this either had to be a return or exchange in from a different store… meaning one on in the city will have one unless they shop online *insert evil laugh* This jacket is buttery smooth and fits perfectly. You can unzip the bottom tab to wear it as a cropped jacket and when zipped up, contours your body perfectly to give you that hour glass shape (slight peplum hem).
This season, I have been racking up on sweaters for the oddest reason. I was never really a sweater kind of girl… no matter what, they always seemed to make me itch, they never really fit me the way I wanted them to… they just weren’t my thing. I learned that some times certain sweaters look great for lounging purposes, while others were meant to make a statement. A knit sweater like this, definitely this right fit for me. It’s comfy, light weight and the color was perfect. It’s a sleeveless, slit slide knit sweater I purchased from Francesca’s a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, this sweater is not on the website. If you visit your local store, I’m sure they may have this style. There is a similar style that is currently on sale now for a great price, in two great colors.
