It’s a new week and new weeks come with new goals. What better way to do so than with new exercise routines and new opportunities. Recently, I decided to join in on the fun and take the @brittnebabefitness 21-Day Challenge (which for me, started one week ago Feb 20th) being held on IG and on her website. From my understanding, you can still challenge yourself, but the contest is locked. Definitely, go by to check everything out to make sure and challenging yourself regardless.
Now that I’m on my 2nd week of the challenge, I can say that I’m noticing some changes. I mean before starting, I wasn’t unhappy with my shape or size. I think most of all, I wanted to see more definition by toning up. I want to see ripples in my abdomen, dimples in my lower back and my calf muscles raised to the gods, lol.
After walking around aimlessly downtown, I decided to pick up some workout clothes and some equipment. I’m not sure if the guys feel like this, but s a woman, having a great workout wardrobe is just as important as my everyday collection. Who doesn’t want to look cute working out? I know I do. This pullover hoodie was definitely one of the cutest tops I picked up mostly because it is cropped and has a midway zipper instead of a full length zipper. My jeggings are basic black yoga leggings and my trainers are black Nike’s with a gold logo.
For those wondering, all my accessories have been purchased from Wal-Mart in the fitness section. Look for 5 and 10lbs. weights, short to medium resistant bands (not shown), Lotus yoga mat and Gold’s Gym ankle/wrist weights.
