Hey there! Clearly, I have failed at this year’s Blogtober Challenge because I skipped so many days, lmao. Listen, I have the perfect excuse as to why this happened… well two excuses. I’m not sure if anyone else experienced this, but one of my plugins was corrupted and in exchange, I had the “white screen of death”. I seriously didn’t think there was a name for it, but obviously it’s happened to plenty of other bloggers before. I was so afraid that I lost everything, but surprisingly I managed to fix the problem. Then I had the opportunity of visiting an oral and facial surgery practice in Charlotte, NC this week and I loved every minute of my stay. I’ve learned that general dentist isn’t good fit for me. I must narrow it down to a specific interest, like orthodontics, pediatrics or endodontics… to name a few. I received lots of information about things my past employers failed to inform me on (that’ll really help me in the future) and he actually spoke to me (unlike my previous doctor). But, that’s neither here or there. I’ll talk about that one another day. Either way, I failed the challenge. Nonetheless, this outfit right here… was a complete winner!

Last year, I had the pleasure of racking up on so many sweaters from H&M, when they were practically giving them away for little to nothing. This one here, caught my eyes because someone left it near the denim section, where it stuck out like a sore thumb. Usually I wouldn’t have noticed it… not only was it orange, but it was “boxy” looking. After picking it up, I noticed the back could be zipped. In order for me to disguise the shape of the sweater, I would unzip the back half way to reveal my actually shape.
Wearing the zipper half zipped also allows me to reveal a little skin since the weather is still on the warm side. I didn’t want my lower back shown, so I decided to wear my high waisted jeans that fit amazingly and my thigh high boots I bought from asos last year. This look is easy to recreate. I chose some great pieces for you right above… while adding in more earth tone colors for you to play around with.
Girrrrl, tell me my makeup isn’t flawless today. I dare you! Listen, usually I wear MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid in NC50, but I wanted to try something different. With MAC’s face and body foundation, the consistency is a little light than I’m normally use to… which is fine. I’m just a full coverage, kind of gal, is all. Nonetheless, it still did it’s job and delivered goddessness. Here are a few other products I used to complete this look (psst, I’ll be doing a small tutorial on how I apply there products… coming soon):
